Sex Therapy with Gigi
-
A sex therapist is a person trained in psychotherapy, specializing in sexual concerns. This is not simple. It goes beyond “What G-Spot wand is best?” and involves talking about and exploring your experiences (both past and present) to help you get a better understanding of what is happening in your sex life, sexuality, and/or relationships.
A sex therapists works with you to help you accept and flourish in your sexuality, no matter how that might look for you. A healthy relationship with your sexuality is important to your overall well-being. Enjoying your sex life with a partner(s) and when you’re on your own will help improve your confidence and other areas of your life.
In talk therapy, a sex therapist may also give you exercises and tasks to do with your partner (or on your own) to aid in progress.

Together, we’ll work in collaboration. I work relationally, using an integrative and pluralistic approach. While I am informed by therapeutic theory and highly trained in clinical sexology, the sessions are client-led and client-focused.
If you’re on this page, you’re likely aware of my online presence. I love that aspect of my work, but this isn’t the “Gigi” you’ll be meeting in the therapy room. These sessions are about you. As a part of our counseling/patient contract, we’ll both make a commitment to show up authentically in the room.
I am kink-informed, trauma-informed, sex worker friendly, and specialize in working with the LGBTQIA+ community, especially the bisexual community.

I offer weekly or bi-weekly or weekly, ongoing sessions for those experiencing sexual and relationship concerns.
I’m a Pluralistic therapist, meaning my therapeutic framework pulls from various theories. My style is very relaxed and person-centered. This is a collaborative process wherein you can direct your sessions toward your own personal growth. Wherever you want to go and whatever you want to focus on, that’s where we’ll head.
I am here to be your guide and to help you in your journey toward a more self-actualized state of being. I am here for you as an equal, not some omniscient being on a sofa. This is a process, and we are in it together. No topic is off-limits. This is a safe space to open up and be yourself without judgment.
I use various techniques and homework assignments (some written, some body-based) to aid in your progress. I may also offer suggested reading based on your needs. These assignments are voluntary.
Groups I work with: I exclusively work with AFAB folx, sex workers, trans folx, women, femmes, AMAB LGBTQ+ folx, trans, and gender non-conforming clients. I am open to all relationship styles — Monogamous, polyamorous, in a relationship(s), single, or anything in-between.
